Advice for parents
Don’t put a child to bed with a milk bottle — this is the main cause of bottle caries. Supervise brushing until around age six. A pea-sized amount of fluoride toothpaste is enough.
Sweets don’t have to be banned — but eating them in one sitting does far less damage than grazing all day.
